A word of thanks from Mikey:
This release was a chance for me to experiment with a different kind of production from what I've done until now. Bringing the raw demos to the studio and letting the musicians loose on the arrangements, singing live with the band using my favorite SM58 microphone, was a new experience for me and showed me just how far I've come as a musician.
I want to thank the Organ Grinders for trusting me as a writer, vocalist, and band leader, and for giving their all on stage and in the studio. Working with such powerhouses is a never-ending inspiration to me and I couldn't have done it without the collaborative and creative spirit that we all share.
Big thanks goes out to my dad Yoram Ariel, for mastering this record and all the previous records that we released. To my sister Shlomit Ariel, who's been invaluable in helping me design the cover and the new branding for the band. To my friends Ben Gladnikoff, Ravit Zelig, Ron Dobrovinsky, and Hamed Jenabi, for giving feedback on the songs and replenishing my confidence in moments of uncertainty.
And as always, thank you to our fans and friends who love and support us. To the DJs who play our songs and songs by other working bands. To the festival organizers who give us the opportunity to share our music. And to the dancers, who stomp their feet, clap their hands (on 2 and 4), and feel our music with their bodies and hearts.
